The Rooms
La Casa Colonica is situated in the small village “Vernazzano” nearby the highway that leads to Perugia and/or Siena. The very good position makes this, from origin, farmhouse very suitable for those who wants to spend there holidays in a relaxing as well as a culture way. Some of these most important art and culture cities of Tuscany and Umbrie like Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Siena, Florence, Cortona and many other smaller cities, rich of history and culture, are very easy to reach for day trips. This restored farmhouse, surrounded by vine and ancient old olive yards, is an ideal and healthy place, in the middle of nature, for a lovely holiday!
The apartments are simple but furnished with all comfort. In total 9 apartments, each with his own entrance, terrace or garden.
The farmhouse has a family atmosphere, complety managed by the family Mezzetti who are also the owners, each member of the family having his own part of responsability. The family produces there own wine and olive oil “extra vergine” since 1960.

The room Cipresso:
The ground floor is entirely dedicated to common use: there is the living room with fireplace and kitchen. A door leads directly to the garden where meals can be taken. This part of the house is particularly characteristic as the internal walls are still of bare stone.
The stairs lead up to the large double bedroom which has the possibility of adding 2 extra single beds. The bathroom is with shower.
